The prayer cloth is a visual aid, by reading and believing scriptures like Psalm 103:1-5 and Acts 19:11-12 the prayer cloth is used to pray for healing, protection or spiritual distress and is often seen as a connection to God’s power to strengthen faith and draw closer to God. The practice of using a prayer cloth is rooted in the biblical account in Acts 19:11-12, where miracles were performed though handkerchiefs that had touched the Apostle Paul. God’s presence and power in situations of illness or spiritual distress.
*It is important to note that prayer clothes are NOT seen as having inherent power, but rather a tool to focus faith and belief in God’s power to heal.
